University of Pavia CICOPS Scholarships 2023 for International Students
The University of Pavia, in collaboration with EDiSU (Institute of the Right to University Studies), is delighted to provide CICOPS Scholarships to students from developing countries. The scholarship offers the opportunity to stay at the University of Pavia for a duration of 4 to 12 weeks.
The University is delighted to invite you to participate in one of our student exchange programs, either for study or traineeship, or as a degree-seeking student. Additionally, the University of Pavia is pleased to host international scholars for brief teaching stays.
To foster global collaboration, particularly with developing nations (as per the World Bank Income Classification), the University of Pavia and EDiSU (Institute of the Right to University Studies) offer five scholarships for visiting scholars for the year 2024, allowing a stay of 4 to 12 weeks at the University of Pavia.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria for the CICOPS Scholarships for International Students:
- Applicants must have at least two year of either teaching experience or activity within international organizations and institutions.
- Scholarships are designed for both junior and senior members of Universities in Developing Countries or members of major research centres and international organisations or institutions with specific interest in the field of development studies.
- CICOPS scholarships are reserved for research collaboration in the short term in order to encourage the mobility of researchers from developing countries.
- Applicants enrolled in a Doctoral or Postgraduate Course at an Italian University are not eligible to apply. For further information, please refer to the FAQ section on the website.

Application Procedures for the CICOPS Scholarships for International Students (How to Apply):
To be eligible for CICOPS Scholarships for International Students, interested applicants must carefully review the CALL and FAQ before submitting an ONLINE APPLICATION FORM. Only apply once you’ve received an invitation letter from your contact professor at the University of Pavia. It is crucial to provide a complete application, including the invitation letter. CICOPS can aid in finding a contact professor, and for additional inquiries, please contact cicops@unipv.it. Please note that incomplete applications will not be accepted under any circumstances. The application process can be managed through PICA.
