CICOPS Scholarships in Italy 2023 for Developing Countries
The opportunity to apply for the CICOPS Scholarships for Developing Countries to pursue studies in Italy in 2024 is now available. The CICOPS Scholarships initiative is a partnership between the University of Pavia and EDiSU (Institute of the Right to University Studies) that provides financial support to selected candidates.
The University of Pavia and EDiSU (Institute of the Right to University Studies) are offering five scholarships to visiting scholars in 2023, with the aim of fostering global collaboration, specifically with Developing Countries based on the World Bank’s Income Classification. These scholarships are available for a duration of 4 to 12 weeks for the selected scholars to spend at the University of Pavia.
CICOPS was founded in 1984 with the objective of fostering collaboration with developing nations and strengthening ties between the University of Pavia and universities situated in these countries. The organization is dedicated to the enhancement of both institutional and human development in developing nations, achieved by empowering young individuals with the opportunity to learn and contribute towards the progress of their respective countries.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria for the CICOPS Scholarships 2023
- The Scholarships are open to international Students
- Applicants must have at least two years of either teaching experience or activity within international organizations and institutions.
- Selection of candidates will be based on quality of proposal as evaluated by appropriate departments.

Application Procedures for the CICOPS Scholarships 2023 (How to Apply):
To apply for the scholarship, applicants must complete the online application form after carefully reading the CALL and FAQ, and receiving a letter of invitation from their contact professor at the University of Pavia. If an applicant has no contact, they may contact the CICOPS office and request a research proposal form along with their CV to be submitted via email at cicops@unipv.it.
Upon receiving the proposal, CICOPS will assess it and forward it to the relevant department at the University of Pavia, provided that the research project aligns with the research activities carried out at the university.
