University of Bologna 2023 NRRP PhD Scholarships for International Students
The University of Bologna, in partnership with NRRP, provides doctoral scholarships to students from around the world, offering more than 280 opportunities for professional training and development. These scholarships offer financial support to PhD students and do not impose any requirement to enter into an employment agreement with the organization.
The PhD scholarship, which spans three years, has a total gross value of €69,991. This translates to an estimated net stipend of around €1,200 per month for a period of 12 months. In addition, there is a research-related expense budget of approximately €5,000 for each PhD student over the course of three years. Furthermore, there is an additional monthly top-up of €600 for a duration of 6 months during periods spent abroad.
The PhD program equips students with the necessary skills to engage in high-level research endeavors and pursue advanced professional career paths not only within academia but also in the public and private sectors. Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the University of Bologna NRRP PhD Scholarships:
- Applicants must be domestic or international students
- An undergraduate (second-cycle degree or single-cycle degree programme) of the University of Bologna or of another Italian or foreign university and will graduate by 31 October 2022;
- A graduate (second-cycle degree or single-cycle degree programme) of the University of Bologna or of another Italian or foreign university
- Applicants must have proof of English Language proficiency.
