Jiangxi Provincial Government Scholarship for International Students is established by JIANGXI Provincial Government. It is evaluated and approved by Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Education and issued by Jiangxi Provincial Bureau of Finance. The duration of the scholarship is for 1 academic year.

Jinggangshan University (JGSU, hereafter), a state-run institution of higher education, is known for its comprehensive ordinary undergraduate education with a long history and glorious tradition. It is a university jointly supported by Ministry of Education and the People’s Government of Jiangxi Province, pair-assisted by Tongji University and authorized by Nanjing Military Region for cultivation of military talents and cadres.

• Applicants for bachelor degree program (Scholarship B) must have a high school diploma and be under the age of 25.
• Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid passport.
• Applicants for short-term or exchange program must study more than 6 months.
• Applicants for Chinese taught courses must provide HSK certificate.
• Excellent academic performance.
• Not sponsored by any other kind of scholarship.

Application Procedures for the Jiangxi Provincial Government Scholarship (How to Apply):

Applicants seeking for Jiangxi Provincial Government Scholarship must fill in and provide the following documents:

• APPLICATION FORM FOR JIANGXI GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP with handwriting signature and study plan
• Highest diploma (notarized photocopy). If applicants are students, they should also provide the certificates of study from their university.
• Academic performance Transcripts
• Photocopy of the applicant’s passport
• HSK Certificate or other Chinese Language Test results (photocopy)
• Photocopy of Foreigner Physical Examination Form
• Study plan in Chinese or English (not less than 500 words).
