University of Waterloo 2024 Perimeter Scholars International Award
The University of Waterloo is now accepting applications from suitably qualified candidates who wish to apply for the 2024 Perimeter Scholars International Award to study Masters degree in Science – Physics and Astronomy for the session.
The PSI program offers a unique and intensive one-year Master’s level course that combines academic training with hands-on research experience. Applicants of the PSI Award are afforded the opportunity to engage with world-renowned physicists, participate in cutting-edge research projects, and benefit from a collaborative and intellectually environment.
The Perimeter Scholars International Award Program is jointly funded by the University of Waterloo who provides the tuition waiver and Perimeter Institute (PI) who provides funds intended to cover expenses related to travel, housing, food, textbooks and reference material, student services fees, and incidental stipends as assessed by PI.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the Perimeter Scholars International Award:
- Applicants must be either domestic or international students
- Applicants must have a bachelors degree certificate or equivalent
- Applicants must enrol and be accepted in the Perimeter Scholars International Program
- Applicants might be asked to provide proof of English language proficiency (candidates from non-English speaking countries)
