Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarships:
- An international student (i.e. a non-Canadian requiring a study permit);
- Currently in your final year of secondary school or have graduated no earlier than June 2023
- Beginning your studies at the University of Toronto in September 2024 (students already attending post-secondary studies cannot be considered; students starting their studies in January 2024 at another post-secondary institution cannot be considered)

Application Procedures for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarships (How to Apply):
To apply for the Lester B. Pearson Scholarship, follow these steps:
- Obtain a nomination from your school. If your high school has not been contacted or verified, they must submit an application to participate in the program, available in September. Schools that have participated before will receive their nomination access in early September.
- Apply for admission to the University of Toronto to begin your studies in September 2024. Make sure to complete your application by the specified deadlines. Note that you will be considered for the Pearson Scholarship based on your first-choice program at U of T. While you can apply for multiple programs and receive admissions to several, if you are awarded the Pearson Scholarship, it will only be applicable to your first-choice program at U of T when scholarship decisions are made.
- Once you have received a nomination and applied to the university, you can proceed to complete the online Lester B. Pearson Scholarship application. Upon successful nomination by your school, you will receive a private link to access the scholarship application.
