E-JUST TICAD8 African Scholarships 2025 for Science and Technology
Any interested student is encouraged to apply for E-JUST TICAD8 African Scholarships 2025, a chance for Africans to be educated in Japan. This is an IFAD 1 supported by the Egyptian government and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), which aims at nurturing talents in STI.
The master’s and PhD scholarships are intended to promote quality human capital and develop viable postgraduate intellectual networks in STI in and for Africa. Requirements and eligibility criteria;
- Must be a researcher or instructor (or planning to become one) pursuing an M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Science or Engineering.
- Must be from an African country (excluding Egypt).
- Demonstrate excellent academic and research abilities.
- For M.Sc.: Hold a relevant bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution.
- For Ph.D.: Hold a relevant master’s degree from a recognized institution.
- Must have a current home address in an African country.
- Must not be serving in the military.
- Meet all admission requirements and pass the academic interview and oral examination.
- Preference for applicants who plan to return to their home universities or institutions after completing their program at E-JUST. (Home institution endorsement required).
