CMIC Masters Scholarship 2023 at Victoria University of Wellington
The CMIC Masters Scholarships are currently accepting applications from qualified and interested candidates. These scholarships are designed for students who wish to pursue a Masters degree by completing a thesis at the Computational Media Innovation Centre (CMIC), which is located at Victoria University of Wellington.
Qualified applicants for this scholarship must be enrolled as Masters or PhD students at the Computational Media Innovation Centre (CMIC) and must be conducting research in the field of Librarianship in New Zealand during the year of the scholarship.
The primary objective of CMIC is to enhance New Zealand’s capacity in interactive media through academic research. The centre partners with industry professionals, such as major global media organizations, to create and advance virtual reality/augmented reality, film, and gaming technologies. Additionally, CMIC provides a platform for digital start-ups to incubate their ideas and transform them into market-ready products. The Entrepreneurial Universities program funds the CMIC scholarship.
