Canada 2023 Invites Welders, Carpenters, Plumbers who are Non-Canadians
The Canadian authorities have introduced a fresh immigration pathway for craftsmen like welders, carpenters, and plumbers from nations including Nigeria. The objective of this initiative is to tackle the scarcity of proficient trade workers within Canada. This declaration, titled “Canada unveils inaugural Express Entry invitations for trade-experienced newcomers,” was issued by the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
As stated in the announcement, Canada’s Express Entry System has been revamped to offer a more straightforward and effective route for individuals possessing skills in crucial sectors. The IRCC has introduced modifications to Express Entry, focusing on selection based on categories. These adjustments aim to alleviate shortages in the labor market that contribute to specific economic objectives. The goal is to invite individuals with specific work experience and language proficiency to apply for permanent residency.
Express Entry serves as a digital platform employed by the Canadian Government to grant permanent residency to proficient overseas workers. This application management system is accessible to individuals seeking to relocate permanently to Canada through avenues like the Federal Skilled Worker Program, the Canadian Experience Class, the Federal Skilled Trades Program, and a segment of the Provincial Nominee Program.
