Applications are now invited from women all over the Globe for the IMD Backpack Excellence 2024 Scholarship Award, Interested Women who wish to pursue this opportunity are advised to take it up.

The Backpack Excellence Scholarship looks to help women to get the leadership skills they need to grow in business and public life and fulfill their leadership ambitions.

The Backpack Excellence Scholarship looks to actualize a changing experience to talented and motivated driven women who may not have the funding to pursue a masters program.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the Backpack Excellence Scholarship:

• Demonstrate excellence in previous academic and/or professional endeavours, including GPA (or equivalent) and GMAT/GRE.
• Convince IMD of your ambition and ability to use your education to pursue a leadership role.
• Career progression and international exposure.
• Ability to contribute to the overall learning experience of the class.
• Performance during the Assessment Day.
• Essay: “Tell us how, as a displaced women, an MBA at IMD will be transformative for you and indirectly for other women in your community, and what are your main learning objectives.” (500 words).
• Priority will be given to talented and driven women who may have believed that an MBA program was out of reach due to limitations and disruptions in their professional path. These may include family obligations, forced migration and financial constraints.

Application Procedures for the Backpack Excellence 2024 Scholarship (How to Apply):

Interested applicants for the Backpack Scholarship for Women are to complete the Scholarships and Bursaries form found under the Financial Planning section of their MBA application form.

Please note that you may apply for multiple scholarships, however scholarships are non-cumulative, therefore you will not be selected for more than one.
