The University of Edinburgh is now open to accepting applications from eligible students for the Ailie Donald 2024 Scholarship. Interested Applicants are encouraged to take this opportunity.
All scholarship award holders are expected to be energetic members of our postgraduate community, and will engage with opportunities to present their work to the wider student and staff body during the period covered by their award.
The University of Edinburgh is offering this scholarship to cover the UK tuition fee level for MSc study. This scholarship is awarded for postgraduate Masters study in English and/or Historical Linguistics, within the School of Philosophy, Psychology & Language Sciences.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the Ailie Donald 2024 Scholarship at University of Edinburgh:
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants must enrol for Masters degree program
- Applicants must take part in full-time study program
- The scholarships will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on one of the following programmes of study, within the School of Philosophy, Psychology & Language Sciences at the University of Edinburgh.
- MSc English Language
- MSc by Research English Language
- MSc Linguistics
- MSc by Research Linguistics
- Preference will be given to applicants for the MSc by Research programmes and graduates of the University of Edinburgh.
- Candidates must have, or expect to obtain a First Class Honours degree at undergraduate level or the international equivalent.

In order to gain access to the scholarship application system, applicants must have applied for admission to the University of Edinburgh. Please note that, following the submission of an application for admission, it can take up to five working days for all system checks to be completed and for access to be granted.
The online scholarship application form is located in EUCLID and can be accessed via MyEd our web based information portal at https://www.myed.ed.ac.uk.
