Qualified Nigerians are invited to apply for the IHS Towers Technical Internship Program 2023. This program is designed for young engineering graduates and lasts for 12 months. Its aim is to help them advance their careers in the biggest independent tower company in Nigeria.
The objective of the Internship Program is to equip its participants with the necessary knowledge, abilities, and skills required to construct, manage and operate network sites efficiently throughout Nigeria. Participants will be provided with an opportunity to enhance their personal and professional growth by undergoing intensive classroom training, extensive e-learning, and on-the-job training under the guidance of experienced Engineering leaders, managers, and teams.
IHS Towers is a leading company in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East that provides mobile telecommunications infrastructure services. Established in 2001, IHS offers a range of services related to towers, including colocation on their own towers, deployment, and managed services. Currently, the company operates in several African countries, including Nigeria, Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Zambia, and Rwanda. With the acquisition of MTN and Etisalat’s tower portfolios in Nigeria, IHS now owns more than 23,300 towers throughout Africa.

Requirements and Eligibility criteria for the IHS Towers Technical Internship Program 2023:
- Electrical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics (with Electronics concentration), Telecommunications Engineering or related disciplines.
- Must have completed OND
- Experience: 0-1 year
- Based in Lagos and Abuja
- Females are strongly encouraged to apply
- Have good command of both spoken and written English
- Are organized and always pay attention to details
- Have strong analytical and technical skills and can collaborate well with diverse groups of people
