World Bank Legal Internship Program 2023
The Legal Vice Presidency of the World Bank is seeking applications from enthusiastic law students who are interested in gaining exposure to the World Bank’s mission and the work of the Legal Vice Presidency.
By participating in the Legal Internship Program, individuals can introduce fresh viewpoints, inventive concepts, and the latest research findings into the World Bank’s daily activities, as well as enhance their legal abilities while collaborating in a diverse, multicultural setting.
The main aim of the program is to offer law students the opportunity to gain practical, hands-on knowledge of the World Bank’s everyday activities by working closely with Legal Vice Presidency personnel. The program is available three times a year, and lasts for a maximum of three months, providing internships at the World Bank’s headquarters in Washington, D.C., as well as select offices, to currently enrolled law school students.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria for the World Bank Legal Internship Program 2023:
- Applicants must hold citizenship of any IBRD member state.
- Must be enrolled currently in an LLB, JD, LLM, SJD, PhD, or equivalent program.
- Must possess excellent command of the English language.
- Must demonstrate excellent academic and leadership abilities.

Prospective candidates who wish to apply for the World Bank Legal Internship Program are required to upload the following items on the internet:

- Statement of purpose
- Evidence of registration in a law degree program (such as LLB, JD, LLM, SJD, PhD, or equivalent) and copies of academic transcripts.
