The UNICEF Internship Program offers students and recent graduates the opportunity to gain direct practical experience with UNICEF’s work

The UNICEF Internship is open to highly organized, creative and dynamic intern to join the variety of opportunities available at the organization which are as follows:

Office of the Director, Division of Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP)

Geospatial Risk Analysis Intern

Junior Human Resources Support (Outreach) (UNICEF sponsored)

Junior Human Resources Support (Outreach) (UNICEF sponsored)

Multimedia Content Creation Internship

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria for the UNICEF Internship Programs:

  • Be enrolled in a graduate/undergraduate degree programme in management, international development, project management, business administration, social sciences, partnerships, fundraising, human resources or secretarial studies, or have graduated within the past two years.
  • A keen interest in partnerships with the private sector
  • Previous internship or work experience in a low-income or middle-income country is an asset. Previous experience in the office of a senior official is a strong asset.
  • Experience in project management and fundraising are also assets.
  • A deep interest in excellence in management practices is required.
  • Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian or Spanish) is a stron
  • Have no immediate relatives (e.g., father, mother, brother, sister) working in any UNICEF office; and have no other relatives in the line of authority that the intern will report to.
  • Have excellent academic performance as demonstrated by recent university or institution records.
