Open Doors Russian 2024 Scholarship Program for International Students
The Open Doors Russian Scholarship Program targets gifted international students seeking to pursue master’s and postgraduate programs in Russia without incurring tuition fees.
Open Doors champions enjoy a complimentary early admission to any Russian university, exempt from entrance exams and with their tuition fees sponsored by the Russian Federation. These victors can seamlessly enroll in a program through a unified system, with the flexibility to select from various Russian universities. The language of instruction is either English or Russian, contingent on the chosen program and university.
The Open Doors Russian Scholarship Program Olympiad comprises two tracks—one for potential Master’s students and another for doctoral candidates (equivalent to Ph.D.). The Master’s track involves two rounds, while the doctoral track encompasses three rounds. The initial round assesses portfolios, followed by a problem-solving challenge in the second round. The third round for the doctoral track includes the selection of a prospective research supervisor for the chosen doctoral program (similar to Ph.D.) and an interview with them. The competition welcomes foreign citizens, stateless individuals, and compatriots residing abroad, who hold a Bachelor’s degree or are in the process of completing a Bachelor’s degree program in the year of the Olympiad for the Master’s track. For the doctoral track, participants should possess a Master’s or Specialist’s degree in the year of the Olympiad (equivalent to Ph.D.).
