Commonwealth 2023 Young Professionals Programme (Multiple Positions)
The Commonwealth Secretariat is excited to invite applications from enthusiastic and driven young individuals who are interested in participating in the youth empowerment and support initiative offered through our Young Professionals Programme (YPP). We are offering various positions and opportunities for successful applicants.
The Young Professionals Programme (YPP) provides numerous chances for skilled and capable young individuals from diverse Commonwealth backgrounds to make valuable contributions to our core activities. These contributions involve sharing technical expertise, innovative ideas, specialized knowledge, and unique perspectives.
The Commonwealth is a voluntary union comprising 56 member governments, and it offers valuable guidance in policy-making, technical assistance, and advisory services to its member countries. Our primary objective is to assist governments in achieving sustainable, inclusive, and equitable development.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the Commonwealth Young Professionals Programme:
- Applicants must be a citizen of a Commonwealth country
- Applicants must be 27 years or younger at the time applications close
- You will need to have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject area
- Applicants must have at least one year of demonstrated work experience in the design and delivery of a subject relevant to development or democracy programmes/projects.
