Boren Fellowship Awards 2023 for International Students
The Boren Fellowship Awards 2023 for International Students are presently accepting applications from eligible and exceptional international students who desire to enroll in the Boren Fellowship program in the United States. These fellowships assist with the funding of research and academic pursuits in regions of the world that are crucial to U.S. interests.
Boren Fellowship recipients must follow extra guidelines when designing their self-led research, internship, or study programs. They can also obtain financial support for domestic summer language programs directly preceding their overseas study.
The Boren Awards don’t mandate grantees to gain academic credit from their home institution for their study abroad program. Many kinds of programs are qualified to receive Boren Awards funding, which includes study abroad programs organized by the grantee’s home institution, a consortium of universities, or another American institution. Moreover, Boren Awards funding is applicable to overseas programs with a substantial language element organized by an independent provider, as well as direct enrollment in foreign universities or independent language schools.
The Boren Fellowships offer U.S. graduate students a maximum of $30,000 to enhance their graduate education by focusing on language study, area study, or improving their language proficiency, in order to gain a significant international experience.
