The University of Gondar-Mastercard scholarship aims to offer financial support to students hailing from East African countries who plan to pursue full-time undergraduate and postgraduate programs at the University of Gondar during the academic session of 2023/24.
The Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program consists of two categories: the undergraduate scholars program and the graduate scholars program. The collaboration between the Mastercard Foundation and the University of Gondar aims to provide scholarship opportunities for Ethiopian youth to pursue undergraduate studies at the University of Gondar. Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program:
- Applicants for the master’s scholarship must be from the eligible East African countries (Ethiopia, Somalia, Eritrea, Djibouti and South Sudan) enrolled in a full-time program at the University.
- Applicants for the undergraduate scholarship must be Ethiopian youths studying at the University.
- Applicants must be enrolled in the eligible courses for the different categories of scholarships.
