Wallonia-Brussels International Excellence 2023 Grants Programme

The Wallonia-Brussels International Excellence Grants Programme is currently accepting applications from highly qualified and eligible postdoctoral candidates for both Long-term and Short-term scholarships.

The IN WBI program allows foreign researchers to pursue postdoctoral studies or research programs at universities in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. The program is a fully funded scheme and aimed at luring highly intellectual students into the institution.
The Wallonia-Brussels International Excellence Grants Program has two types of programs available: Long-term scholarships, which are renewable once and last for a minimum of one year, and short-term scholarships, which last for 1 to 3 months and are not renewable. However, you will need to provide proof of completion no later than specific dates depending on the type of scholarship you are applying for. For long-term scholarships taking place between September and August, proof of completion must be provided by June 1st. For short-term scholarships, if the stay takes place between February and May, proof of completion must be provided by December 1st. If the stay is between June and September, proof of completion must be provided by April 1st. If the stay is between October and January, proof of completion must be provided by July 1st.
