Ecobank 2023 Fintech Challenge for African Innovators
The 2023 Ecobank Fintech Challenge is inviting applications from eligible innovators hailing from Africa. This challenge aims to endorse advancements in the Fintech field while offering Africans a platform to expand their products and seize opportunities.
The Fintech Challenge recognizes and collaborates with Fintech companies that are prepared for growth, granting them assistance and granting access to prospects in Ecobank’s 33 African markets. This challenge is open to all Fintech companies based in Africa.
The primary objective of the Fintech Challenge is to discover collaboration prospects with the pan-African Bank and integrate solutions into Ecobank’s diverse digital platforms. Additionally, it strives to expand the business and operations of innovators across key sectors within Ecobank’s 33-country ecosystem. Upon selection, the finalists have the opportunity to showcase their innovations at the Fintech Innovation Fair, where the winner receives a prize of $50,000. All finalists are also inducted into the Ecobank Fellowship, which provides them with opportunities to explore potential deals, integration, and commercial partnerships with the Ecobank Group.

Requirements and Eligibility Criteria for the Ecobank Fintech Challenge:
- Applicants must be from the African continent.
- All Fintechs with an Africa-Focused or Africa relevant product are eligible to apply.
- Demonstrate excellent command of the workability of the Fintech solution.

Application Procedures for the Ecobank Fintech Challenge (How to Apply):
Prospective participants of the Ecobank Fintech Challenge are expected to fill out and finalize an online application prior to the specified deadline. As part of the application process, applicants must also provide a demonstration version of their Fintech product.
