University of Gävle 2024 Scholarship for African Students
The University of Gävle is currently accepting applications from qualified individuals for the 2024 Scholarship for African Students to pursue a degree of their choice.
The scholarship covers the entire tuition fee as well as support for living expenses and a one-way trip to come to Gävle, for studies at Bachelor of Science in Social Work – Specialization International Social Work commencing August 2024.
The scholarship program aims to support outstanding individuals who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to making a positive impact in their respective fields.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the University of Gävle Scholarship for African Students:
- Applicants must be a citizen of a country in Africa.
- Applicants who show interest in the field of International Social Work, Development Studies, Eco-social Work and Green Social Work.
- Rank the programme, Bachelor of Science in Social Work – Specialization International Social Work, as first priority at universityadmissions.se
- Apply to the programme before the universityadmissions.se.
- Pay the application fee and send supporting documents to universityadmissions.se in time
Selection Criteria:
- Admission to the study programme
- Grades from upper secondary education
- Motivation Letter (Please find guidelines in the application below)
- Interview by representatives from the university and the Iyabo Theresa Ogionwo Memorial Foundation.
