Talented and exceptional candidates are invited to submit their applications for The Commonwealth Year of Youth Project on Training, Employment, Economic Opportunities, and Inclusion 2023.

Ensuring the training, employment, economic opportunities, and inclusion of the most vulnerable individuals must be given high priority within the Commonwealth’s Youth Mainstreaming Training Programme.

The Youth Mainstreaming Training Programme aims to enhance the capacity of stakeholders to fulfill the commitment made by Commonwealth Heads of Government. This commitment entails giving due consideration and priority to the voices, rights, capabilities, and needs of young people in policy-making and decision-making processes across government and development institutions. The programme is an integral part of the Commonwealth’s Year of Youth, which received special recognition and endorsement during the meeting of Commonwealth Heads of Government held in Kigali, Rwanda, in June 2022. During this meeting, the Heads of Government declared their dedication to empowering young people, stakeholders, and governments in order to expedite progress on issues specifically relevant to the youth in 2023.
