Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship:
- Meet the Academic and English requirements for a Macquarie University Bachelor or Postgraduate Coursework Degree.
- Achieve a minimum WAM equivalent of 65 for Postgraduate applications; or a minimum ATAR equivalent of 85 for Undergraduate applications.
- Be accepted into a Macquarie University Bachelor or Postgraduate Coursework Degree commencing in the next year
- English Language Requirement: Applicants are required to provide evidence of meeting the Macquarie University’s minimum English language proficiency requirements.

Application Procedures for the Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship (How to Apply):
Depending on the specific scholarship, some do not necessitate a separate application process. Applicants will undergo automatic evaluation for eligibility, and those who meet the criteria will receive a scholarship offer along with their course acceptance.
However, for other scholarships, a separate application is required. These applications will typically be assessed by a scholarship selection committee based on the specified scholarship criteria.
For interested and eligible candidates, the initial step is to complete an online course application form. After your course application has been processed, you will be assigned a Macquarie University Student Number, which is mandatory for submitting the online scholarship application.
Applicants must then proceed to complete an online scholarship application form and indicate “VCIS” in the Scholarship Name field when applying for the Macquarie University Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship.
