Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarships:
- Applicants must be international students
- Undergraduate Program: A senior high school diploma acquired from an overseas senior high school or a foreign or bilingual school in Taiwan, or document of equivalent educational level shall be recognized by M.O.E. and verified by R.O.C. representative office.
- School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine: A Bachelor’s degree or higher obtained from a university or an independent college recognized by M.O.E. should be verified by R.O.C. representative office. Should the applicant has completed the study in accordance with the provisions of Article 4, Paragraph 1 of the Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan, a certificate of “being enrolled via International Students Admission Channel in a bachelor’s degree program or higher” is required.
- Master’s Program: A Bachelor’s degree or higher obtained from a university or an independent college recognized by M.O.E., or document of equivalent educational level should be verified by R.O.C. representative office. Should the applicant has completed the study in accordance with the provisions of Article 4, Paragraph 1 of the Regulations Regarding International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan, a certificate of “being enrolled via International Students Admission Channel in a bachelor’s degree program or higher” is required.
- PhD. Program: A Master’s degree or higher obtained from a university or an independent college recognized by M.O.E., or document of equivalent educational level should be verified by R.O.C. representative office. Application Procedures for the Kaohsiung Medical University Scholarships (How to Apply):
To apply for the KMU International Student Scholarship, interested applicants should follow these steps concurrently with completing the online application form:
- Visit the Application Website and select either the [Undergraduate Program] or [Master/Ph.D.] program you intend to apply for. Create a personal account. You can apply for a maximum of 3 programs. Please note that applications without online registration will not be considered.
- Carefully review the Declaration and agree to the application terms. Ensure that all required fields on the application form are filled out, as incomplete forms will not be saved successfully.
- Upload all the necessary documents and submit the application fee (only applicable to School of Post-Baccalaureate Medicine applicants). Make sure to upload all required application documents before the application deadline.
- After completing the application forms, print them out, sign them, and then upload scanned copies of the forms.
- Provide at least 2 respective referees for each program you are applying to.
- Click the “Submit Application” button to finalize and submit your application.
