Applications are now being accepted from suitably qualified domestic and international students undertaking higher degree and research programs for the Australian Government 2024 Research Training Scholarship at the Australian National University (ANU).
ANU Currently conducts two annual central scholarship rounds which includes the AGRTP, the University Research Scholarship and a few other centrally managed scholarships.

Requirement and Eligibility Criteria for the Australian Government Research Training Scholarship:
- Applicants must be a domestic or an international enrolled in an accredited higher degree or research program at the Australian National University.
- Applicants must have obtained a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution of higher learning.
- Applicants must not be receiving an equivalent award or scholarship from the Commonwealth designed to offset HDR fees.
- Applicants must not be receiving income from another source to support that student’s general living costs while undertaking their course of study if that income is greater than 75 per cent of that student’s RTP Stipend rate. Income unrelated to the student’s course of study or income received for the student’s course of study but not for the purposes of supporting general living costs is not to be taken into account.
